Our Shrine to Our Lady of Fatima was completely renewed in the summer of 2006 |
As the sun sets on one holy year, it is already rising on another. The special year dedicated to Saint Paul was a time of blessing for the whole Church. Here at St. Ann’s we managed to hold a study series, make resources available and host a film night - all centered around the remarkable life and ministry of Saint Paul.
On June 19 the Church universal marks the beginning of the “Year of Priesthood.” His Eminence Cardinal Hummes (Prefect for the Congregation of the Clergy) has written that this year should be “an occasion of intense appreciation of the priestly identity, the theology of the Catholic priesthood, and of the extraordinary meaning of the vocation of priests within Church and society.”
