Marriage Teaches Love: Our relationship is teaching our children the most important lessons of their lives - how to love, how to disagree, how to forgive, how to grow together, how to live. God gives us the grace to be the best teachers we can be. Our children are watching; what do they see?

THE SEDER MEAL

Parishioners are invited to join our Lay Pastoral Minister, David Dayler as we explore the great feast of Passover and its relationship to our celebration of the Eucharist.

Pre-Meal Talk Tuesday, March 23rd at 7:30 p.m.

Seder Meal Thursday March 25th at 6:30 p.m.

The cost of this activity is $ 20.00 per person which covers the cost of having the Seder Meal prepared for us.

Passover is the great Jewish feast of redemption and liberation, the memorial of the Israelites’ deliverance from their bondage in Egypt. The ritual meal which commemorates the events of the Exodus is called the Seder. In the Christian tradition the Passover Seder is also believed to be when Jesus instituted the Eucharist. Gathered around the supper table with his disciples, Jesus told them, “I have longed to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; because I tell you, I shall not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

Join us as we explore this wonderful meal on Tuesday March 23rd and then together we will share in the Seder meal on Thursday, March 25th. Please sign up in the Parish Centre Entrance as space is limited to 40 people.
